I know it's not Fall yet LOL But this design of Kyra's made me think of days ahead! I love Fall, shortest season here in the north but I love the crisp cool days, when you can sit outside, no bugs, no hot sun and humidity, just an awesome kind of day!! Early 4th of July for you

A long time ago, I downloaded a free trial of Adobe Photoshop. I wanted to see if I could make my own elements or try to design a kit..... okay so I made some elements but never really put a kit together LOL  I was going thru some old files and found this quick page. I decided to share it with you all. Not fancy but not bad if I do say so myself. (believe me I have a long way to go in the designing area compared to some of the talent that is out there) There is even a small area to write something on (I would use white type)
So today I offer you a quick page really made totally by me !!!!!

I found this beautiful kit called " Pastel Bloom" by Carole it is filled with wonderful pastel colors that make you think of summer days. Well the reds,greens and golds of Christmas are being packed away. They are my favorites(love Christmas) But I am hoping that all though they are gone...you will find this new qp to your liking. Kyra is back to designing oh such nice things again!! Snow Day

So have any of you gotten snow yet?? We have only had light flurries a few times, nothing major. But that is subject to change at any given minute LOL.I was going thru some older kits by RDH(Kyra) and found this beautiful kit from last year and decided to share part of it with you in a quick page. The rest of the kit "Dreaming of a white Christmas" is available on her blog in the archives. Take a peek. Last year I did "24 days of Christmas".... not so sure I will be doing that again. They are still here on my blog, but they are also on 4 shared which I don't use. I will try and repost some of them for you in the days ahead. Some Punk

Steam Punk that is. LOL I have only worked with this type of design one other time...it is interesting. Kyra (Russian dutch heart) has made this wonderful kit for you all. There are more elements and lots of ways to put it together, this is just one of them. Please stop by her site, link is over there still on the right, you will find alot of interesting designs that will get your imagination flowing. Hope you like this one and can find a use for it.
Oh an update on the whole 4shared, copyright thing...they were objecting to a name I had given a wordart again. The wordart was named "follow me" and apparently some recording artist has a song by the same name so they decided to pick on me....I have emailed them and hopefully it will get straightened out soon. Fall is coming!!! Oh I love that time of year. Our shortest season but the prettiest! I do love Spring with all the new flowers and that, but Fall.....YUP my favorite. I tend to do more outside then, walks and just sitting on the porch. No bugs, no humidity, my kind of time LOL And the colors Wow!! Something different for you all. This is an 8X10 qp. I know I have mentioned before about those borderless frames at good old Walmart (I'm sure they can be found other places too) they are so cheap (in price not looks) and this qp would make a great anniversary photo gift. Do your layout as always but print it on card stock. ....works great! I use those bordless frames alot!! Kyra made a lovely kit to share called "Remember the good times" and because she is so generous, I was able to make this quickpage for you all. Nice how that works huh?? I think we all have people that we could use with this page...whether they are gone from our lives or just far enough away that we miss them. I have a Sister that I lost 17 years ago, I could put her photo in here, I also have dear friends that I don't get to see that often and I could use their photo....either one would work because yup they are right beside me all the time in my heart....they always will be. Attic Memories

This is a 5x7 quickpage using Kyra's kit again. Every once in awhile it is nice to do one this size so that it can be framed instead of put in a scrapbook. Hope you don't mind. A borderless frame is all you need...I know they have them at Walmart for about 97 cents. And what a gift this would make !!
Thanks for stopping everyone...I am off to find a cool spot to just sit!! It is so hot (and for Wisconsin that is a rare thing) heat index of about 103*  I am not a summer person anyway so I will not be complaining when Fall and Winter get here Nope!! Enjoy

We were young

Hot, muggy weather does not make for going outside and enjoying some summer fun...but....it does let me get on the computer and play!!!! Made this QP with another wonderful kit by Kyra, the kit is called " Sounds of Yesterday " My first thought was that song" Yesterday" and so this qp was created! I am going to go thru some old photos and see what I can come up with. I have baby pics of my hubby and me...might use those.
