Memories of Mom

Mothers Day is Sunday. Some are lucky to be still making memories with their Mom.... others have wonderful memories that will stay in their hearts forever. Moms and daughters.... what are the odds that it was always perfect. As a small child, my Mom knew everything. As a teenager, I knew everything (LOL) and now as a Mom and Grandma myself, I am back to believing my Mom knows everything.
I used Kyra's kit "still missing you Mama" so soft, so pretty. I wasn't sure what wordart to use, but this one seemed to fit. Whether you are still making those memories or they are tucked in your heart. I hope you can use this one and that Mothers Day finds you filled with love, hugs and precious memories.

About Mom

I am sure you could come up with a few more examples right?! My Mom is still with us and I am grateful for that. Oh we have our moments (I think we all do) but she is where I learned to be a giving person, to hold unto dreams no matter what, to stand up for something I believe in (which as a teenager probably gave her grey hairs), to love unconditionally, to learn from the past and move forward to the future. She is at a time in her life where her memory of some things is not as good as it was .... but mine is and I remember and I love her for those memories.

Moms Day

Mothers Day is this Sunday and I am sure any special someone would be honored to have you use Kyra's new kit "Mama's Special Day"  to show her how special she is to you. I am lucky, my Mom is still with me physically... but I believe even if you have lost your Mom, she is never really gone. Look at how you live your life, the things you do and say...a part of her is right there everyday....Always.

Two words

It wasn't until I was older and a Mom myself that I really understood all that she did for me. I don't just mean the ordinary things either, but the things as kids, we don't understand or agree with. Being a Mom is a hard job, not for the faint of heart LOL The lessons I was taught growing up are the same lessons I hopefully have taught to my children (yup those same ones I didn't agree with when I was a teenager) Think about it for a minute...good or bad...what we learned from our Mom is now a part of who we are and how we live our lives, those punishments we didn't agree with, the curfews(which were so strict) the staying by our bedside when we were sick or yes even the Moms for whatever reason couldn't make it as a Mom and felt leaving was the answer to giving us a better life. Everything a Mom does is done with Love! I really didn't realise that till I was older. Ok getting way off there so I will leave you with this bit of thought and hope that you can use it and enjoy it. You can download it here

I am proud to call her my Mom, but there is a feeling of more pride when I can say I am her daughter. Does that make sense? Hope you can use these bits. You can download them here

Something for Mom...

Mother's Day is coming up pretty soon and thought I would share these with you. My Mom is still with us and for that I am very thankful. These bits of thoughts were inspired by some late night talks with a very dear friend, who's Mom is only here in memories. If your lucky enough to have your Mom here or if you only have special memories, I hope these little thoughts help you do that special page for her.
