Spring is coming

It is right???? We finally have more green (brown) grass in our yard than white snow!! But here in Wisconsin that is never a given that Spring is here. We have already had snowstorms, big ones in April or even the first part of May. But I will look on the positive side and enjoy what we are having now!

Sorry it has been a bit since I have been in here. No excuses except just been busy with life in general.

Rebirth

Finally ...... we have greenish brown grass and some flower shoots showing!! I am so happy to see winter leave for now!! Seemed it liked it here in Wisconsin and was thinking of setting up permanently! So glad it changed its mind.

Its spring somewhere

Not just in our yard "Yet " LOL but it is coming...it is 51 here today and all though overcast and still snow on the ground, it is feeling good!!
Kyra from RDH made this new kit called " Suddenly its spring" love the colors and the elements! The link is over on the right, please stop by her place and take a look around. She offers free designs on MWF. you wont be disappointed!
We have started getting busy here. Even with the snow on the ground my hubby is tapping our maple trees. We even have some sap boiling out there. Takes awhile and a lot of sap to make a quart of syrup...but so worth it.

But if I listen very carefully maybe I can hear the sounds of flowers and green grass way off in the distance....Way off!

Spring Wishes

By just looking around the web the other day I came across this site Nicoles Scraps. I was impressed, some very nice designs. I downloaded one called "Flora Glow" and made this qp. I contacted the designer and asked if I could offer it here on my blog for you all and she said yes! So here you go. It is another 5x7 (which fits in those borderless frames(which someday I should see if I can get a discount on cus I use so many of them) I love having these creations around the house...they make me smile when I look at them and remember when, where and who!! Sweetest Time

Morning everyone....I have a couple new qp's for you!! I know I started this blog to do mostly word art, but right now my word art would consist of things like.."bad doggy, stay, sit and ouch"!!!! I had a run in with a dog who wanted to go where I didn't want her to and the edge of a deck that we hadnt gotten the rails on yet. Long story short, I fell off the deck but not before hitting my shin bone on a boot scrapper thingy and OMG you should see the pretty colors my leg has become LOL I can only be on the computer for a short time and making these qp's for you all seems to be the best way to spend that time. This is another one using a kit called "Souffle du Printemps" (Breath of Spring) by Kyra, link to her site is over on the side, please take time to visit her and download some of her wonderful designs...So very worth your time, honest!!!

Spring Plopper

You all know what a "Plopper" is right?? It's where the elements are done and you just have to add an extracted image to the page.( it differs from a regular qp because you don't use a whole photo just a part of it. I have pse7 and it has Magic extractor, if your really good you can just use an eraser..I am not that good LOL) In this case, maybe someone sitting on the bench or standing by the pond...you get the idea right?! If you want to see a sample check my other blog(link on the right) to see how I used it. I combined 2 kits by Kyra, "Garden song, and Spring explosion" Both wonderful kits.

Spring Thoughts

We finally have NO SNOW!!! Oh maybe I shouldn't have said that so loud LOL being in Wisconsin, you never know!!! But our flowers are growing and trees are budding so I am thinking thoughts of Spring. Natures idea of fun

Spring is here along with all that goes with it. LOL! We have 5 dogs (I know..I know) and I keep a cloth by the back door to wipe paws, but some prints make it thru anyway. My daughter is always wiping up footprints on the steps or cleaning some amount of mud off something. But it's spring, it's fun and it's a memory!! So if you would like this one it is yours. Sorry it's been a bit since I posted. Real life sometimes gets in the way. I have been dealing with a spring cold and then my Mom had to have surgery to have a pacemaker put in. So been alittle busy at my house. I found this beautiful kit by Doro called "Tender Spring Breeze" and it is just so pretty and thought you all might like a qp. Best thing about Spring

After all the snow we had melted, plus the rain, well yes we have some puddles!! And kids of all ages seem to find them!! If a puddle is anywhere in the yard the grandkids will find it! Ok truth be told, I have walked thru a few myself! (you know that inner child we all have) LOL

Spring Thoughts

Well the snow is gone (hopefully) and Spring is here! Hope you like these bits. As a kid, being in the rain was fun, as an adult not so much..wonder when that changed??!!
