Counting Blessings

One more for Thanksgiving. We will be spending it at our Son's home. I usually don not have Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Christmas .. yes.
Do you all have the tradition where you each tell what you are Thankful for each year?? I have a list!! But it basically boils down to "Life" the good the bad and everything in between. Yup all of it. My life is not always moonlight and roses or the best of the best, but it is my life and for all that includes I am so grateful. At church today the pastor talked about that. How some go around saying how bad things are without really seeing the good, the blessings that also fill their lives. My Thanksgiving wish for you all is kind of like that, there may be bad stuff happening right now, but that you are able to also see the blessings that are there too. One of the things on my list...all of you who stop by here and visit....Thank you for that and for the smiles you leave me. Enjoy and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Bits

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope you will be spending it with Family and Loved ones. We are actually having 3...yup 3 Thanksgiving meals this year(can you say Turkey overload) A church in our small town is having a community Thanksgiving Dinner tonight, then Thursday my Daughter is having Dinner around noon (the Packer/Lions game is on then) and my Son, who is a hunter is not having Dinner until about 7....So yup 3 Dinners!!! I just have to bring myself(hubby too) and then make the White Gravy at my kids meals!

Hope you can use this bit of thought, and I hope for a Thanksgiving filled with Blessing for you all. If you are looking for more bits check out the link on the right side. Enjoy!

Gathering

Well friends, it's that time of year again...time to get out the good china (or at least the heavy duty kind of paper plates) clean out the oven in preparation for that big bird or ham, maybe even clean out the cobwebs. Whatever you do to get ready, it is time for the family to come together. Differences in life style, or politics or anything minor are put aside and you join each other knowing how blessed and loved you really are. I hope you can use this bit of mine to add to those family photos you know some one will be taking(even the funny ones)If I don't get a chance to tell you I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Take a moment

I know Halloween isn't even here yet and I am giving you a Thanksgiving bit...but ya know...do we have to wait for a special day to be thankful? Look around, there are people, things and moments in our lives everyday that we should take the time right then and there to give thanks. I usually give thanks for "the good, the bad and the otherwise" Because all three help to make my days what they are and who I am.
Thanks for stopping by have a great one, don't forget the smiles...sometimes they can be the most important thing you can give someone.

More Thanksgiving bits for you

Actually maybe this could fit any day, not just Thanksgiving. We shouldn't wait till a special day to tell people around us that they are important or that we are thankful for them. So hope this brings you smiles as you find that one photo that fits. Leave me one of those smiles please, I count each one as a part of my blessings.
I added some things to my TOU, it is also here on my blog. Please read and understand why I felt I had to do this. Take care and you can download this bit here

Thanksgiving Bits for you all

Yup Turkey Day is coming!! I don't do the cooking, my daughter has us all over for dinner. And I don't know about all of you, but we do ham not turkey. Not real big turkey eaters in our family. Doesn't really matter what you have on the table, what matters is family, friends and blessing.
And I suppose if your having turkey...who gets the drumstick LOL
Hope you can use my bits of thoughts, leave me a smile if you download which you can do right here
