It's "Snow" wonder

An add-on by Manu called "Snow Wonder" is what I used for this qp. The link to her site is over on the right. While you are there, sign up for her newsletter....so many surprises in it!!
We still have snow and cold here in northern Wisconsin. Hubby just let me know that next week a high of 0* oh not good!! I am not a hot muggy summer girl, but right now maybe that wouldn't be so bad.

Snowman in the meadow

I used Kyra's (RDH) kit "Frozen Memories" for this quick page. It seemed like a perfect day to post this as we are in the middle of a snow storm....5 to 9 inches LOL Thinking there might be alot of snowmen build when this is over....

snowflakes are calling

Oh to be a child when the ground is covered with a white playground...between snowmen and snow forts, sledding and snow angel making.....what a time!! Kyra (RDH) designed this kit called "Sweet Winter" and if you are a child (Or have a bit of an inner child ) it is Sweet!!!
It has been way to cold lately everywhere to really enjoy the winter (we had minus 41*F this morning) but I am sure that won't last and soon all our yards will be full of at least one snowman and sleds will be going up and down hills again soon.Hope you can use this qp and are staying warm....when the weather does warm up a bit...let your inner child come out and play.....

First Snowfall...

Going thru some older kits from last year and I found this one called "Winter White" by
 Raspberry road designs. (just click on the name) The picture is from last year...not this much snow yet here, but I guess it is coming soon!! Some of you might have these already. They are from 2009 and 2010, but I had them on 4 shared (which I no longer have) So thought I would repost them again, as some visitors have asked how to get them. I am trying to do a bit of housecleaning around here, so if there is an older item that you want and you cant download it from 4 shared....email me and I will see what I can do. Cold days warm memories

 

Normally this time of year we are in a bit of a deep freeze...but temps on Saturday are going to reach 40* WooHoo!!! But short lived..will be back in the low 20's soon after. We live in Wisconsin so we know what to expect...

Kyra has come up with a new kit called "Wintry Cold" just right for all those outdoor winter fun photos! It's true ya know...we bundle up, go out and play, then get so cold and hurry back in. Our bodies might be a bit chilled from the experience but.....our hearts are filled with wonderful warm memories!!! Pure Joy

Not your typical colors for Christmas but beautiful just the same. Kyra (RDH) made this kit called "Christmas is Harmony" and the elements and papers are so pretty. Check out her blog, link is over on the right, she has so many kits to choose from. (Make sure to leave her a Thank you) Hope you can use this one...I saw the colors and thought of using it for some outdoor photos I have of the kids playing in the snow. Enjoy!!

Snow Day

So have any of you gotten snow yet?? We have only had light flurries a few times, nothing major. But that is subject to change at any given minute LOL.I was going thru some older kits by RDH(Kyra) and found this beautiful kit from last year and decided to share part of it with you in a quick page. The rest of the kit "Dreaming of a white Christmas" is available on her blog in the archives. Take a peek. Last year I did "24 days of Christmas".... not so sure I will be doing that again. They are still here on my blog, but they are also on 4 shared which I don't use. I will try and repost some of them for you in the days ahead. Do you remember???? Oh to stand there and let those flakes hit your tongue!!! A simple pleasure, but so much fun. My Grandkids do that now and I have to admit I sneak in a snowflake taste or two myself!! LOL

First Snowfall

Have you had one yet this year? We did, it wasn't much but because it was so wet, it stuck to the trees for awhile (well at least over night) now there are just a few white spots left. Love snow or hate it, that first one is always the most beautiful most magical! It also hold the memories of other first snows. Hope you can use this bit of mine for those photos you know will be taken. You can download it here

Thought I forgot ya all huh?? Nope, never happen!! We had our Family Christmas this weekend so the house was filled with Sisters, Brothers, Grandmas, and kids!!! No time to get in the sleigh and deliver these gifts till now. Hope you enjoy them, you can download all three days here

Well we are getting our blizzard!! 12 inches of snow and still coming down!! This is one NOT happy Santa!! I have to say tho everything is beautiful outside, the trees are layered in white!
