Life changes

 

Used a bunch of kits by Kyra for this one, plus a frame I had made a while back. I was looking thru some old pictures and was amazed how much certain people had changed. That was the inspiration for this quick page. Do you have some old photos or maybe a child's school photos? I am thinking they would be perfect for this one. Hope you agree and can find a spot for it.

Some new ones for you. Made from a kit called "Time stands still" by RDH. We have all had that moment right, where if we could we would try to save it to last forever. Actually I have had a few of them. The moment may pass at least in real time...but in a special corner of our hearts, well it never goes away. I hope you find some smiles as you look for that perfect photo to use these two with.

Beside me

Kyra made a lovely kit to share called "Remember the good times" and because she is so generous, I was able to make this quickpage for you all. Nice how that works huh?? I think we all have people that we could use with this page...whether they are gone from our lives or just far enough away that we miss them. I have a Sister that I lost 17 years ago, I could put her photo in here, I also have dear friends that I don't get to see that often and I could use their photo....either one would work because yup they are right beside me all the time in my heart....they always will be. Hope you can use this bit and thanks so much for stopping by for a visit.

Cherish Everyday Life

The good, the bad and the in between of everyday should be something that we cherish....moments that make up each day in our lives are so important...might not always seem that way at the time, I know, but they are when they are all put together....they form memories, our own individual mark in history. Something we might thing of as so small and meaningless might end up being something awesome to another. When I was little, I spent my summers at my Grandparents, my Grandmother made homemade bread every two days...something that to her was just part of everyday life....but to me it is a memory that even now all these years later, I close my eyes and see her at the kitchen counter kneading that dough, and the way the house smelled while it was baking and it makes me smile. So see, you never know !

A new bit of thought for you all. I have had this one for awhile but just didn't get it on here. Hope you like!! You know those times when you look around and say " This is what it's all about" usually with a big grin on your face.

Do you know someone who this fits?? I have a list LOL!! The kind of someone who jumps into each day feet first, sometimes not holding onto the safety bar!! Nothing bad ever, just a way of making each day their own. Doesn't have to be a human either...I have posted a page of one of our Labs who really lives up to this bit of thought!! Hope you can use this one and if it makes you smile...please leave one for me...they make my day and let me know that what I do is worth it.

It changes ...yes it does

It has a way of doing that, Life, I mean...just when you are sitting back thinking " this is good, bad or whatever" in the blink of an eye it changes. A phone call, email or a visit from a friend....a new baby, a wedding, and yes even a bad thing. The thing about life is what is happening now will change, it will make us smile, it will make us cry but it will change.

It has been a bit since I have been in here. Real life gets in the way sometimes. Hope you can use these two. The first one is from Psalm 46:10. Its true you know, in all the turmoil going on in our lives, if we just take a minute and listen, we will know, we will have the answers we need.
The second one well, school is starting on Thursday for my Grand kids and for one of them it is going to be the first day of 4K. His story is just beginning. There are other stories this might be good for, an engagement, wedding, birth, how about first things. Hope you find the possibilities endless and you find many uses for this one.

Just a simple and short one today ... although I don't really think any day filled with Joy is really simple! Maybe when going thru your photos you will find more than one that makes you smile and brings a bit of Joy, use them all, put them all on a scrapbook page....you can never have enough Joy nope not ever!! A child ....

Oh even for just a day!! In a childs world there really are no limitations to any possibilities. If this doesn't work ... try this. To believe again in fairy tales and wishes on dandelions! When you get tucked in at night, your dreams are waiting and tomorrow is another day to live those dreams. Just for one day....!! We grow up and "real" life takes over, but maybe just once in awhile... a day with a childs eyes would be a great and wonderful thing.

My Sister Susi gave me this beautiful Daily Devotions for Sisters book for Christmas last year and every time I read it I find something that just makes me smile. I changed this one around a bit but the inspiration came from that book. If you like this bit you can download it here

Gives hope

A smile from a child seems to always do this, but what about that smile from a stranger we pass on the street? In today's world, those smiles might be rare, so many people with so many problems, a world filled with difficulties...but when I look and see someone smile as they pass by or say Have a good day with a smile, well that gives me Hope, gives me a feeling of good things are still all around us. True Joy

We smile as we take the picture, we put it away in our memory. It is not until later, sometimes years later when we come across that faded photo, or that moment in time, that we unwrap that memory we stored away long ago and realize just how special it really was, how much Joy it held.

I saw this written on a beautiful butterfly necklace and it just was something I knew I would try and put into wordart. I truly hope you can find a use for it. Even if you just print it out and look at it everyday. We never know what the next minute let alone the next day will hold for us.
