Another Fall one for you all!! I used Kyra's newest design (YES she is back, well slowly coming back and I am so happy) her kit is called "Autumn Comes" Stop by her blog and let her know you are glad she is back. She and her Husband had been going thru some medical issues and it looks like things have started turning for the better for them Yippee!!!!
Wish I could tell you it is a beautiful Fall day here, but nope...dreary and overcast, looking like rain or even snow. Hope it's not snow, we still have leaves to rake LOL
I have started working on Christmas cards... I know early huh! I have some in a 4x8 size and thought about 4x6 .... good idea or not, let me know. They use either a business size or regular size envelope. Just leave a comment to let me know okay??

Autumns beauty

Couldn't resist using my Granddaughter Keira Joy for the model in this qp. She is 8... going on 20 honest!!! She comes up with things that I can not believe my ears. So grown up!!
I used a new kit by Studio Manu called "Autumnshere" the link to her web site is on the right and I know you are getting tired of me saying it, but please if you haven't yet, sign up for her newsletter. She is a very talented designer who truly designs from the heart!!
Fall is here, yup, dreary days, no bright sun to shine thru the pretty trees, just rainy and yuck LOL. I do love Fall, but not like this.
I know I know, soon snow will be falling and oh that cold cold weather.......

Autumn Thoughts

Fall yup it is here!!! Not really crisp outside, more like OMG it's cold!!! LOL But the sun is shining and it will be this way for the next week. Highs in the 50's which is nice and no snow ( I know they got some north of us, but not here, not yet :)
Talked to my Daughter this morning, she is making applesauce. It is so good!!!! The people next door have trees and she can get all the apples she needs from them.
I made the frame part of this using some stuff I had made a couple years ago. (Back when I had a free trial of CS3 I think! Would love to get into designing my own kits, but not yet, someday!

Fall time

Okay I know it's not fall yet...but with the kind of winter we have had, I will take any season but the one that does not seem to want to leave!! I used a couple kits by Kyra (RDH) and also a background done by Arlene. If you are familiar with Kyra's site then you know who Arlene is. She always comes up with clusters and even some quick pages using the current kit. She does not have a blog yet but she can be found on Deviant art. If you click on her name you can go take a look.

Fall Photo Mask

I love working with photo masks or clipping masks. Where your photo takes the shape of the mask. I decided to try my hand at making one. I found a tutorial on line at "alibony.com" and gave it a try!! Thankful Autumn

I have said before I love Fall!! It is so pretty and also such a short season here in Wisconsin, case in point .... we had snow flurries yesterday!!! No record amount but I am thinking it was a hint of what is to come!!!! LOL We still have leaves on the ground and the trees :(

Fall Wonder

The weather is turning Fall like around here. Which is fine by me, I love Fall. This is the time of year when I spend the most time outside. I am not a hot muggy summer person, nope! I have a friend who loves Summer, we are best friends but on that we always disagree!! LOL The problem with Fall tho, is it never last long enough. We seem to have about a month of it and then "poof" winter!!!
I used Kyra's kit " Autumn Brings Beauty" for this quick page. Instead of a preview of the qp, I decided to show you what I did with it. That's my Grandson Sam enjoying the leaves!

Another easy to frame one for you all. After praising Walmart for the cheap(but nice) borderless frames well gee you would think they would compensate me huh?? Nope LOL In all honesty these are so cool, I have alot of them around my house. I know having a scrapbook to look at years from now is good, but seeing them displayed on an end table or a shelf now is really nice. I used Kyra's kit called "Autumn Brings Beauty" and this kit does!! Stop by her site(link on the right) and tell her thanks too.

Fall is coming!!! Oh I love that time of year. Our shortest season but the prettiest! I do love Spring with all the new flowers and that, but Fall.....YUP my favorite. I tend to do more outside then, walks and just sitting on the porch. No bugs, no humidity, my kind of time LOL And the colors Wow!! Don't know how the weather is at your place, but this morning we woke up to 37*F yup and it was frosty!!! I love Fall so I am happy to see this time of year come. (truth be known, I wish it was Fall all year long) Hope you can use this bit, and hope you get to make lots of memories!!

Morning all! Was up early this morning (we have two pups who think waking us up before 6 is a good thing) so decided to finish my latest project. This is an 8x8 qp plus a small bit of thought too. As you will find out I have two favorite seasons....Fall and Christmas!!

Fall Memories

I know it's still summer, but wow it has been so muggy and hot here in the north!! Not our normal thing at all. I am not a summer person, at least not when it comes to this kind of summer. So my thoughts have drifted to cool crisp fall days ( hey anything to help me feel cooler right!!) Gee I really got into the Fall colors huh?!! Like I said I love Fall. There is a pumpkin farm not far from our house and I am sure we will be taking the Grandkids there again this year. That's what gave me the inspiration for these little bits of thought. Hope you enjoy capturing moments with your own little "pumpkins" You can download these bits here

More notes to ourselves...

By next week we will start having that wonderful fall weather (right now we seem to be stuck in a bit of leftover summer) I told you before I love Fall...best season and for us up here..the shortest. As a kid I remember piles of leaves burning, or running and jumping into them..as an adult I just enjoy the Season itself. I think Fall is a feeling more than a season. Hope you take some time to enjoy this time of year, and I hope these bits of thoughts help to remind you to do that. You can download them here
